Community Programs

Connecting our community, from birth to elder years, and everything in between.

Community Centred Care

A growing network of volunteers working to support aging, end-of-life, and death care in our community.

These efforts help ensure residents can live and die with dignity, choice, and community connection.

Puddle Jumpers Preschool + Daycare

We believe Lund is the best place in the world to raise children.

It seems only natural that we would start their pre-school education here with community support. â€‹â€‹

Bike Lund

Bike Lund encourages active living, safe cycling, and sustainable transportation in and around Lund

They organize local rides, promote cycling safety, and advocate for improved biking infrastructure.

Working with qRD

LCS works closely with the qathet Regional District (qRD) to represent the voices of Northside residents in local planning and development initiatives.

We ensure the unique needs of our rural community are recognized in regional decisions.

Community Car Share

A developing community-based transportation solution designed to help residents.

Their aim is to reduce isolation, strengthen community connections, and lower environmental impact, one shared ride at a time.

Community Events

From seasonal festivals and family dinners to yoga classes, theatre, music, and the arts, the Lund Community Society supports and hosts events and programs.

Bringing Lund and the northside qathet together throughout the year. â€‹

Our programs thrive because of the community members behind them: volunteers, families, and supporters like you. If you would like to learn more, volunteer, or contribute to a specific program, we would love to hear from you!

Get Involved

In respect and gratitude, we recognize that we live on the homelands of the Coast Salish People. Before being renamed by European settlers, the Lund harbour was known as Kla-Ah-Men by the Tla'amin, Homalco & Klahoose people who have inhabited these lands since time immemorial.
